How PDF rotation works

Sadevz Rotate PDF sets each page's standard rotation flag directly inside your browser — the same mechanism every PDF reader respects. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

1

Upload your PDF

Drag and drop or browse for a PDF. Page thumbnails render locally so you can see exactly what you're working with.

2

Rotate what you need

Rotate the whole document, an individual page, or a selection of pages. Thumbnails update immediately.

3

Download the result

Content, quality and page dimensions are all preserved exactly — only the orientation changes.

Privacy note: your file is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to Sadevz.

Common uses

Fixing scanned documents

Scanners often produce pages that are sideways or upside down. Rotate individual pages back to the correct orientation.

Mixed portrait and landscape pages

Reports that mix charts and text often need only certain pages rotated — select just those pages and rotate them together.

Correcting an entire document

If a whole PDF was scanned or exported sideways, rotate every page at once with a single click.

Preparing files for printing

Make sure every page is oriented correctly before sending a document to print.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate just one page instead of the whole PDF?

Yes. Each page thumbnail has its own rotate buttons, so you can rotate individual pages independently of the rest of the document.

Can I rotate multiple selected pages at once?

Yes. Select any pages by clicking their thumbnails, then use the rotate-selected buttons to rotate all of them together.

Does rotating reduce PDF quality?

No. Rotation only changes how each page is displayed — the underlying content, text and images are copied through completely unchanged.

Will the rotated PDF open correctly in other PDF viewers?

Yes. Page rotation is a standard PDF feature that all PDF readers respect, so the pages will display rotated correctly wherever the file is opened.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Every rotation happens locally in your browser. Your file is never uploaded to Sadevz or anywhere else.

Can I undo a rotation before downloading?

Yes. Use Reset Rotations to return every page to its original orientation, or rotate a page again to cancel out a previous rotation.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

Not directly. Password-protected or encrypted PDFs can't be read by the in-browser engine. Remove the password from the file first, then rotate it normally.
