What ways can I split a PDF with this tool?

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is read and split entirely inside your browser. Nothing is sent to Sadevz or any other server at any point.
Can I download all the split files at once?
Yes. After splitting, you can download each resulting PDF individually or download all of them together as a single ZIP file.
How do custom page ranges work?
Type comma-separated ranges such as 1-3, 4-8, 9-15. Each range becomes its own PDF file. Single pages work too, for example 1-3, 5, 7-10.
Will splitting reduce the quality of my pages?
No. Pages are copied directly from the original PDF without being rasterized or re-compressed, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
Is there a limit to how many pages I can split?
There's no hard-coded page limit, but very large PDFs (hundreds of pages, especially with many images) can be slower to process since everything runs on your device rather than a server.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Password-protected or encrypted PDFs can't be read by the in-browser engine. Remove the password from the file first, then split it normally.
What happens if I enter an invalid page range?
The tool checks your ranges before splitting and shows a clear message if a range is malformed, out of order, beyond the document's page count, or listed twice.
